1. Agreement

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of DeepScan ("the Service"), operated by VAEDI Limited (Company No. 10089191). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

2. Licence Grant

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to access and use the Service for your internal business or personal purposes. You may use detection reports generated by the Service in your own investigations, compliance, and reporting without restriction.

3. Account Responsibilities

• You must provide accurate registration information.
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
• You must not share your account with unauthorised parties.
• You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service.

4. Acceptable Use

• Do not attempt to circumvent rate limits, usage quotas, or security measures.
• Do not reverse engineer or extract the source code of the Service.
• Do not use the Service in any way that violates applicable laws.
• Do not resell or redistribute the Service without written permission.
• Do not use the Service to generate false accusations or to harass individuals based on detection results.
• Do not upload media that you do not have the right to analyse.

5. AI-Generated Content Disclaimer

• AI-generated detection reports are provided "as is" and represent probabilistic assessments, not definitive proof.
• You are solely responsible for verifying detection findings through additional means before taking action.
• Detection results should not be used as sole evidence in legal proceedings without independent verification.
• We do not guarantee the accuracy of detection scores, and both false positives and false negatives are possible.
• AI-generated output does not constitute forensic, legal, or expert opinion.

6. Subscription and Payment

• Free tier usage is subject to monthly scan limits.
• Paid subscriptions are billed monthly via Stripe.
• You may cancel at any time; access continues until the end of the billing period.
• We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice.

7. Intellectual Property

The Service is owned by VAEDI Limited. Detection reports generated for you are yours to use freely. You retain ownership of any content you submit for analysis.

8. Limitation of Liability

• The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind.
• VAEDI Limited shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages.
• Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid in the 12 months preceding the claim.
• We are not liable for decisions made or actions taken based on detection results.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
